Constructed from a blend of 92% cotton / 8% spandex, this bra will mold to the shape of your breast to accommodate its changing shape all day long. As a result, the cup will not become too tight when your breasts are full. This reduces the risk of mastitis, and it enables you to use breast pads comfortably and discreetly.

All bras feature:
- A sports bra styled back that provides excellent upper-middle back support and holds the shoulder straps in place, even during nursing.
- Snaps that lie flat under close fitting clothing and that can be opened and closed with one hand
- Cups that drop fully away from the breast, giving complete access for the baby

Is there enough support?

Yes. The fabric blend of 92% cotton and 8% spandex means the cup moulds to your breast and supports its changing shape all day long. Unlike a 100% cotton bra, whose fibers remain stretched until washed, spandex contracts time and again without losing its shape. The sports back is excellent for upper-middle back support and acts to relieve stress on the shoulder straps. The wide under-elastic offers extra support below the breast.

How does the sizing work?

The Bravado Designs Nursing/Maternity Bra has 4 sizes (S-M-L-XL) and 3 cup ranges (basic, plus and double-plus). The sizes refer to your rib width and are based on a conventional bra sizing chart, whereas the cup range refers to cup size. For example, all the small bras have the same rib measurement whether a S, S+, or S++, only the cup size differs. The same holds true for the M, L and XL.

How do I buy a Bravado Designs Nursing/Maternity Bra while pregnant?

The cotton/spandex blend of the Bravado Bra is very accommodating to the changing size and shape of a pregnant woman's breasts. Generally during pregnancy, your breasts will increase at least on full conventional bra size (i.e. from a 32 to a 34 and from a B to C cup). Some women can expect one last cup size increase immediately post-partum (i.e. from a prenatal C cup to a post-partum D cup). Often after 10-12 weeks of nursing, women will return to their prenatal (pregnant) bra size.

What's the difference between styles?

Do the snaps really do up with one hand?

Yes! After 3 or 4 practice runs - you can undo and refasten the snap with one hand! (and still hold the baby with the other)

Can I dry my Bravado Bra in the clothes dryer?

No. Spandex is a delicate elastic and overheating it can cause the fibers to break. Hanging your bra to dry will prolong its life and support!
