We have finally received a small shipment of 8 oz Evenflo glass bottles in Ottawa, more bottles to follow in mid-April.

JamTots hanging pails are instock, and selling fast.  These bags are an ideal way to store dirty diapers, simply wash the pail with your diapers, and you'll never have to worry about cleaning a stinky pail (trust me, I know!).

We're holding another cloth diapering workshop at Dovercourt Community Center on April 12th, register now to reserve your spot.  In exchange for a food donation, you will receive a $10.00 gift certificate... not a bad deal!

We are sold out of 8 oz. Evenflo glass bottles in both Ottawa and Kitchener, and we have a limited number of 4 oz. Evenflo glass bottles left in Ottawa.  12 oz. Klean Kanteen sippy cups are also running low, though we have lots of 12 oz, 18 oz. and 27 oz. bottles with sports caps, flat caps, and loop tops instock (as well as insulating totes and slings).

We are expecting a new shipment of Evenflo glass bottles (8oz and 4 oz) in the first week of March. 12 oz. Klean Kanteen sippys are also on order, expected the first week of March as well.

We have had an overwhelming response to the recent news items about the dangers of BPA. We have sold hundreds of Evenflo glass bottles and Klean Kanteens in the past couple of days, but we still have lots of stock left. The 4 oz. Evenflo bottles retail for $4.00, and the 8 ox. bottles retail for $5.00.  Our 12 oz. Klean Kanteen with sippy adaptors retail for $19.95, and we have various accessories instock, including extra lids, slings, and insulating totes.  We continue to sell the Medela bottles sets, a BPA-free plastic alternative. A set of 4 4oz bottles (with nipples, collars, and lids) retails for $22.00.

Finally, we have Evenflo glass bottles instock!  We've been working on this for a while, but due to overwhelming consumer demand for Evenflo glass bottles, it took a looooong time to get our initial order filled!  We're pleased to stock a reasonably-priced glass bottle.  The 4 oz bottles are retailing for $4.00, and the 8 oz. glass bottles are retailing for $5.00... these are unarguably, the best-priced glass bottles on the market! The Evenflo bottles features a universal thread, which means it's compatible with most collars/nipples on the market (the bottle is sold with a silicone or rubber slow-flow nipple).

In addition to the Evenflo glass bottles, we are continuing to sell Klean Kanteens at record pace.  We stock sizes 12 oz - 27 oz, extra lids (sippy spouts and adaptors, flat caps, and sports caps), and now we're stocking the Built NY insulating sleeves. These containers are an excellent alternative to traditional plastic sippy cups, and the best part is that once your child has outgrown the sippy spout, you can simply replace it with another lid, continuing to use the Klean Kanteen for years to come. We're a Klean Kanteen family, there's no question that drinks simply taste better when they're stored in stainless steel as opposed to plastic.

Due to popular demand, we've brought in the Bravado's Supreme Nursing Bra, which accommodates E through H cups... another great addition to our large selection of nursing bras!  

Our playgroups are slated for Tuesday mornings, beginning January 29th, from 10am - 11am. What to expect?  Be prepared to meet other like-minded moms... finally, a place where you can talk about cloth diapers, slings, and anything else AP- related without raising eyebrows. No reservations necessary, however, we will cap attendance at 10 adults (with children, of course), to ensure comfort for everyone; snacks are welcome (no nuts!), we have a hot/cold water dispenser, so bring a mug and a tea bag, and we'll chat!

We've got lots of great new products instock, and we're working on adding them to the site.  Once again, Padraig booties are in-stock, a luxury your little one's feet will enjoy!  Comfortable booties that stay on, what more could a mom want?

We're stocking Bamboo nursing pads now, at $6.00 a pair, breastfeeding mothers can now enjoy the comfort of luxuriously soft bamboo nursing pads that are cool, breathable, anti-bacterial and super absorbent. Made with bamboo fleece, these nursing pads are soft, smooth & non-bulky. Don't be fooled by its thinness - they are more absorbent than regular cotton nursing pads.

We've searched high and low, and we've found a FANTASTIC new woven wrap, best of all, it's made in Canada!  The Chimparoo woven wrap is made from a 100% cotton woven fabric that complies with Oko-tek 100 (The Oeko-Tex 100 Standard comprehensively addresses the Human Ecology component of textile products. It evaluates and screens for any harmful substances present within processed textiles intended to come into contact with consumers). Lastly, a lot of you have been asking when we're expecting our first shipment of NEW and IMPROVED Fuzzibunz diapers, and I'm happy to report they'll be in-stock in Ottawa on Friday, December 21st (please be patient while we count stock -- we've got a lot on the way!).  The diapers will make it into the Kitchener store on January 2nd. We still have some Fuzzibunz diapers left at clearance price, a good selection of small diapers, and a sprinkling of larges left... they won't last long, now's a great time to stock up!

Yes, it's here!  As promised, we have to make room for the new and improved Fuzzibunz diapers, so our remaining stock is being clearanced (please note, these diapers are final sale!). Whew!  We have finally updated the website to include a couple of products that have been selling well at the store... no reason the rest of you can't enjoy them!  We have been stocking 'Jack & Jill' BabyHawks for almost a year now, we're the only retailer in Canada regularly offering reversible BabyHawks.  Why buy two when you can get a double-sided carrier?  We try to pick a print that will please Mom, and print that will please Dad, so everyone is happy. The carriers listed on the site are expected in early December, we do have carriers instock at the store, just different combintions than we've listed on the site.

We've also listed the hot new Fleurville Ree-run messenger bags, made from recycled water bottles (yes, recycled water bottles!). These bags have all the bells and whistles that come with the regular Fleurville Mothership bag, but a much nicer price tag.  

Have you heard of the Baby K'Tan carrier?  While we think stretchy wraps are great, we understand that some people are intimidated by them. The Baby K'Tan is a double-pouch system that doesn't require wrapping, although the end results are the same. This 100% cotton, sized carrier is comfortable, and best of all, EASY to use.

And speaking of nursing bras, we have had new changerooms installed at the Ottawa store, so we are holding regular bra-fitting clinics on the last Monday evening of every month (with the exception of December's clinic).  Why come to a bra-fitting clinic, you ask?  So we can measure you for a bra that fits properly (it's amazing how many women are wearing ill-fitting bras). We have a great selection of bras, and our staff members have all been trained to fit bras properly. It's never too late to buy a bra that fits, you (and the girls!) deserve it.

With the Holidays fast-approaching, we've added lots of great toys to our store (sorry, not online... yet!).  We have Peppa dolls (all types), and a good selection of Haba and Selecta wooden grasping toys.  For toddlers, we have an assortment of Selecta push toys, your little ones will love them! Sophie the Giraffe continues to be a top-seller, a great gift for any baby on your shopping list.

They're here, they're here!  The Pikkolo carrier has landed, it's in the Ottawa store (and online), it will be in Kitchener as of Tuesday. This carrier has generated a lot of buzz, and we already had some enthusiastic customers give it a go in the store today... Purchase a pikkolo (say that five times fast!) between now and October 6th, receive a *free* pair of Huggalugs (retail value of $12.00).  Made in Australia, these super funky Huggers will keep little legs and arms covered, protecting them from the elements and hard surfaces... ideal for under your little one's pants while seated in the Pikkolo!

We now have organic Babylegs in-stock (in addition to the regular line), these scrumptious colors are perfect for fall, and oh-so-soft. We're also stocking Little Soles squeaky shoes, not only are they super-cute, but they're also super-practical.  These shoes will alert adults to the fact a little one is around. They're also reassuring for Mom and Dad because you can hear your little one scampering around... the latest Robeez designs are also instock, between the Pedoodles, L'il Soles, and Robeez, I think it's fair to say you'll find *something* for your little one's feet!

Our Happy Heiny one-size diapers are expected at the Ottawa store tomorrow, as well as our shipment of Bendon bras. It's like Christmas around here!

Hello all, we are starting to see the fruits of our labor in Las Vegas, if you've been to the Ottawa store in the past couple of days, you'll notice lots of new goodies:

- Pedoodles hard-soled leather shoes, ideal for your toddling toddler!

- Happy Green Bee fair-trade organic infant/toddler clothing is here, this collection is too cute! Made from a soft cotton knit, the colors will make your child stand out from the crowd.

- We just received our first shipment of the Peekaru babywearing vest, made in the USA from a soft, non-pilling fleece, it will keep you and your baby warm.  You can wear this vest over your baby if you are doing a front carry or a back carry...

- Our Pikkolos are en route, don't worry (be happy!), we placed a large order since there has been a lot of interest in this carrier... we can't wait to get it in our hands!

We're still waiting on lots of new and exciting stock, including non-toxic wooden toys from Selecta, a well-known and respected European manufacturer.  We are also stocking the new Ree-Run bag from Fleurville (yes, Fleurville), made from recycled water bottles, this bag will be a hit! There's lots more, so check back for an update.

We're back, and we're relaxed!  We've added some new products to the site that are instock both in Kitchener and Ottawa. We're stocking Taylormade water ring slings -- both mesh and solarveil fabrics. These slings are great in pools or in the shower, definitely a must-have, all year round! We also have lots of 'Jack & Jill' Babyhawks in the Ottawa store, great for Mom & Dad!

We've got some more great new stock... Klean Kanteens are here, we've got them in a 12 oz. size with a sippy adaptor for baby, and an 18 oz. bottle with a sport cap for mom and dad. We also have some luxurious Australian sheepskins in-stock, you won't believe how soft they are!  Great to line a crib with, they will keep baby cool and comfortable through the summer.

The latest edition of Mothering magazine is here, lots of great reading in this issue! We've restocked the Snug-as-a-bug hats, and due to popular demand, we've added the size 2-8 hats (perfect for big brothers and sisters!).
