| Product features
This carrier is worn over one shoulder, resting on the opposite hip. This compact carrier can easily be stuffed into a diaper bag or purse. Can be worn with the baby in front, side or back. Ideal for discreet nursing.
This pouch is constructed from a slightly stretchy woven material. The fabric is 97% cotton, 3% lycra. Some people find the small amount of 'give' to be more comfortable.
The padding along one railing reduces the impact of the pressure on the legs under the knees. This padding is very minimal and discreet, but it does increase the bulk of the sling overall, so it is not quite as compact.

| Sizes
For comfort and safety, it is important to get the proper size for pouch-style slings. the curve/seam of the baby sling should sit on or just above the hip bone. generally, z’fina slings fit slightly larger than conventional slings. a good rule of thumb is to go down a size from what is normally worn in a fitted t-shirt.
The size of the child should not influence the size the baby sling. the same pouch-style sling can be used for newborn babies to toddlers up to 35 pounds/ 15.5 kilos. if the baby sling is too small, it will dig into baby’s legs and it is difficult to get him/her in and out. if the baby sling is too large, it feels as if baby is going to fall out and his/her feet bump into the carrier’s legs while walking.
To get a proper fit, use a soft measuring tape to get the measurement from the middle of the shoulder to the top of the opposite hip bone. use the chart below to select the appropriate size:
