Woven in Guatemala since 1984 by select artisans, Girasols are made of pure untreated cotton that has neither been pre-bleached or treated with   formaldehyde, halogen-organic compounds, aromatic amines or brighteners.

Girasol's weavers are masters of a very difficult and ancient skill, diagonal weaving, which ensures the wearer's comfort, and prevents the fabric from losing its shape. Doubled hems prevent the edge of the carrier from creating uncomfortable pressure points. 

The length of the carrier indicates the washed length of the carrier - it will shrink initially to the noted length.
